EBSDN - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What happens if there is a COVID outbreak either where you live or where the competition is? 

  • If you live in an area that has been declared a COVID hot spot from The Government we will transfer you to our next competition. If the competition is in a COVID area and the Governments rules, STOPS the competition! We will reschedule to another date or we will move the competition online. We have successfully held online competitions and please be aware, we will move online.

  • Am I entitled to a refund, because of COVID?

  • EBSDN do all they can to be transparent in these times, please read terms and conditions. 
     

  • Am I entitled to a refund for my performer fee, because of COVID?

  • Performer Fee is non-refundable, as we will credit to the postponed competition. 

  • Where do I find the syllabus ?

  • When you enter a region you will find the syllabus and how to enter on that link.

  • How do you accept music for live events? 

  • EBSDN now uses Music Uploads Management.

  • It’s contactless, all online, and will help take out the stress of music issues that arise from time to time.

  • Plus they offer Voice critiques and all in one storage location including the option to access the routine videos.

  • As a requirement to enter into the competition you will be required to upload your music via this service," in the given time period" no other options will be given. No CDs ,USB’s will be used anymore.  www.musicuploads.com.au
     

  • When will I know when I am performing? 

  • Once you have entered EBSDN, a MONTH later you will be added to our LIVE working program, via google docs. 

  • You will see the program start to take shape and you will be able to view the live program and see the information you need too. 
     

  • I have registered and I forgot a routine? 

  • Please log on to the website at www.ebsdn.com and complete an additional entry form with payment.
     

  • How do I make changes to the entries I’ve sent?

  • Email your changes to admin@ebsdn.com Changes can be made up to 4 weeks prior to Live Events only.

  • You will receive an email back of the confirmation for all changes made.
     

  • How Do I Know That My Entry Has Been Received?

  • Your PayPal receipt is your proof of purchase. 

  • If I Can’t Turn Up For My Event Can I Get A Refund?

  • Unfortunately entry fees are Non Refundable unless the event is cancelled, by EBSDN. 

  • What Happens If I Am Late For The Start Of My Live Event?

  • Unfortunately if you are late for the start of your section, you can perform at the end of the section for adjudicators’ comments only.

  • EEEKKKKK My Item Is Over The Time Allowed. What Will Happen If I Go Over Time?

  • The time limits must be strictly adhered to. A 5-point deduction will apply to any act that runs more than 5 seconds overtime. If you are more than 10 seconds over the time limit, you will receive adjudicators comments only.

  • I Can’t Stay Till The End Of The Competition. How Will I Know Who Won?
